Plus, if you scroll all the way down you can see our favourite recommendations around the city!

What you can eat 3 minutes by walk around to the hotel:

Tram App

TAXI

Make sure you know where to go and purchase your tickets in the pid lítačka app. If you’d like, you can also buy a ticket in the tram
by card in orange terminals and navigate via Google Maps.

The best way to get around Prague if you need to catch a ride is by Bolt. Make sure you check the walking distance first, as walking or taking the tram is often much quicker!

ARTIC BAKEHOUSE

GRAN FIERRO

Taste of home for Jón. Great coffee and Icelandic pastries, you will be able to enjoy a wide range of sweet and savoury treats. Cute place.

Well-received steakhouse with great atmosphere and award-winning interiors.

LOLA VERMUT
Y TAPAS

PROSEKÁRNA

We love this place! It has total Kaji vibes (if I could take the chairs home, I would). + the cava and tapas are to die for.

If you’re in the mood for a wide variety of Prosecco, look no further! This place doesn’t offer food but is a good stop when craving a glass.

SAN CARLO

WOK & SUSHI

You could call this cute and delicious - here, you will feel like you’re in a local pizzeria in Italy. Vibe-wise and Pizza-wise, too.

Cheap takeaway sushi. But we like it! We recommend the M22 Sushi Set, Tom Yum and Bún Bo Nam Bo.

Other Prague-wide tips you shouldn’t miss!

U KALENDŮ

A pub and bakery. If the weather allows, it’s very local to stand outside. Only 10 minutes by walk from the hotel. Get the cheese mousse!

NÁPLAVKA

A clever way to get to U Kalendů is to walk the notorious Náplavka (Riverside). The views are great! Just hop down from the hotel.

NATIONAL THEATRE

Following the river stream, you will reach the National Theatre in 5 minutes by walk from the hotel. A sight you want to see!

PRAGUE CASTLE

Why not enjoy the beautiful Prague Castle up close? You can get there in 30 minutes by walk, or by the 22 tram from the National Theatre.

KUCHYŇ na hradě

DO NOT MISS our favourite Czech pub while you’re at the Prague Castle. We actually wanted to have the formal dinner here!

L'OSTERIA NÁRODNÍ

We will be actually stopping at L’Osteria on the wedding day, just a different location. If you want a fun pizza night, 10 min from hotel!

CAFE SLAVIA

Jón’s favourite czech snack, Chlebíček (little bread), is a must-have in this traditional, First Republic (early 1900s) café. Only 5 mins from the hotel!

FORBINA BAR

In the same entrance as Cafe Slavia, you will be able to explore some world-class cocktails and really cool New York bar vibes.

SMETANAQ

Come here for morning coffee and views - a modern take on Cafe Slavia, right next door, is SmetanaQ. Kaja wrote her thesis here!

and most importantly… Shopping!

Rue de Paris

High-end and luxurious street, a must-see without the shopping. Leading to the Old Town Square, it’s the nicest street in Prague!

Na Příkopě

Main shopping street with High Street shops, you can find all from H&M to Zara, Mango, Levi’s, Nike, Lacoste, Max Mara Weekend and more…
